Cave Elzevir is not just another parisian wine store.
Your english-speaking
guide, Alexis, will teach you how to decode french wines and introduce you
to high-quality, small 'vignerons' who easily sell out their entire harvest
to just their clients in France.
In a warm, friendly atmosphere, Alexis will help you find that special wine, and he conducts regular tastings and short seminars to help you become an expert. Cave Elzevir is ideally located in the historic and popular Marais district, just a few steps from the Picasso Museum.
In a 17th century building located at 16 rue Elzevir, you can taste wines in a genuine cave under
vaulted ceilings and lighting that creates an ambience to fully appreciate
wine and armagnac, one of Alexis's specialties due to its gascony origins at
Château Laballe.
Afterwards you can shop along rue des Francs Bourgeois, visit the Place des Vosges or enjoy a wonderful dinner at as-yet undiscovered restaurants in the neighborhood.
